Hazardous Waste
Want to keep hazardous waste and other difficult materials out of the landfill? Hazardous Waste can be taken to the City's Solid Waste Management and Household Hazardous Waste Facility located at 1033 Elm Street.
HHW materials brought to the Household Hazard Waste Facility that are still usable and in their original container will be set aside for reuse. Residents who sign a waiver may pick up these materials free-of-charge.
Visit the Household Hazardous Waste Facility's webpage for a list of the materials they accept. The HHW Facility serves both City of Knoxville and Knox County residents. Feel free to contact us at (865) 521-6957 or info@keepknoxvillebeautiful.org if you have any questions about waste and recycling.
