Our Education and Outreach Programs

We love providing people with environmental education, programs and activities that show them how they can make a difference. And Keep Knoxville Beautiful’s programs are totally FREE to any Knox County school, after-school program, community organization, or business!

Each program typically lasts 30-45 minutes, with several aligning with Knox County Science Standards.

Preschool/Elementary

  • Litter Lesson: Students will learn about cleaning up litter now … and preventing it in the future. This presentation often includes a book and activity sheet/game.

  • Recycled Crafts: This program lets students run wild with imaginative creations made from recycled materials.

  • Storytime: Nothing beats a good story. Together, we’ll read books like “The Lorax,” “The Giving Tree,” “Michael Recycles,” “Litterbug Doug” and more!
